It’s been quite a while since the last time I wrote something in this blog. Not good. Then again, nothing exciting has really happened. All I’ve really done in the last few weeks is work, work, work. Anyways I’ll try and write up some interesting stuff.
An open movie. A term that first started with Team Orange’s Elephant’s Dream. An “open movie” is an animation movie made using nothing other than open source software (all model’s used in the movie is also released, and free for use). Just a few days ago I heard about a new open movie called Big Buck Bunny.
As a project for school, me and my friend over at ilovezehintarwez.com have decided to create a small game in Python. We both have very little experience with Python yet, so this will be a fun challenge. What we will be creating is a small Guess the Number game, with a GUI, high scores and maybe some other fun stuff.

As we all know (or at least should know) Firefox is the best web browser you can get. It’s fast, safe and reliable. Firefox 3 is about to be released soon, and they will be trying to set a Guinness record for most software downloaded in 24 hours.
The tattoo I wrote about in one of my earlier posts is healed and done, so I guess it is time to show the world a picture of it. I’ve had if for about three weeks now, and I am really happy about how it turned out.
I think this site needs a new design. I’m starting to get bored with this one, it needs some fresh colors. The design I am using now is just too boring.
I just got an invite for the beta of Evernote. It’s an application for taking notes, and storing information for later, in a simple and easily accessible way.

I recently decided that I needed something do to when I don’t really feel like working with Maya, or 3D in general. I have always found programming to be a lot of fun, but I’ve never really managed to really learn a programming language, and I have tried many of them.

Yep, that’s right. I actually finished a project.
A couple of days ago I figured I should try something I have never really done before, character animation in Maya. Or animation in general. I don’t really know why I haven’t tried it before, but it’s never too late to start is it?
It’s been way too long since last time i wrote a new post, so here’s an update about what I’m currently working on. I decided to scrap the bus stop project, and start a new one that would be a little harder.
After some time without doing absolutely anything in 3D, I decided to open up Maya and start working on an image I’ve been thinking about for some time.
Side Effects Software announced on March 31st that they will be releasing a version of Houdini for the Mac, and that they are currently looking for beta testers! Witch, of course, is good news for anyone who likes to work with 3D, and like to experiment with new software.
I really have nothing to do to day, so as I often do when I’m bored out of my mind, I started messing around with StumbleUpon, and that’s when I found probably the coolest things ever.
